The last 12 months have been highly successful for both Mark Jackson and Ian Ellis. Two very different types of businesses with a huge amount in common!
Mark, a highly regarded businessman and golf enthusiast from Norwich, made the decision to open his own company, specialising in high quality carpet and flooring, after a long and successful period with Kerry’s Carpets and Blinds.
Over the last 12 months Mark has developed a highly successful business – Norfolk Floors. Mark has built his business around the customer. Everything Mark provides and sells is designed to offer the very best experience possible for the customer.
Mark offers a fully mobile service, where he takes samples of all ranges of carpet and flooring to his customer at home or place of work. This enables the customer to compare the vast options against their furniture, décor and lighting, feel for themselves the variety of styles and qualities, and even walk on different samples to see how it feels under foot. “Ensuring my customers make exactly the right choice at the first attempt is my aim. Ian is a PGA Professional at the highly regarded Great Yarmouth & Caister Golf Club. As well as spending significant time on the course practicing and preparing for major tournaments, Ian also offers golf lessons and professional advice/coaching, enabling fellow golfers to improve their game.
In early 2014, Ian made the decision to take his career a step further and to reach out to highly respected local businesses that have the same core values as himself. These are passion, enthusiasm, quality and commitment. After numerous discussions, Ian confirmed sponsorship with a small number of select local companies.
